Hi Friends and Family, I have received many calls and texts recently from those who know about my upcoming surgery. This Thursday, April 23rd, I will be undergoing an aortic heart valve replacement (SAVR) at Scripps La Jolla. I have known this procedure was coming for several years and feel I am in excellent hands with the doctors at Scripps. Thank you all for your well wishes, concern, and prayers.
